There's a reason the ukulele is so popular now. It's relatively easy to play, and it's lots of fun.
Beginners will learn a handful of chords to play familiar tunes right off the bat to feel successful. You will be surprised how many songs you can play with only 3 or 4 chords! More advanced players will focus on additional chords, easy licks, and a variety of strums. The goal is to get you playing and singing your favorite songs immediately. The more you play, the faster you will be able to change chords and conquer more complex songs.

Rock and roll is fun to play on the uke and your friends can sing along with you. When you are able to change chords and play with a regular rhythm, there are ukulele jams to join all over the Bay Area. I co-founded the Marin Uke Club which meets monthly. Email me for location and times.
